PBS Western Reserve at the New Berlin Festival

Come visit PBS Western Reserve's booth at the New Berlin Festival on Saturday, Sept 27th, 2025, from 12-7 PM! The festival also welcomes back the Chardon Polka Band, also known as the iconic band featured in our EMMY award-winning series The World According to Polka!

In the early 1800s, the city now known as North Canton was previously a village called New Berlin. With mostly German-speaking residents, New Berlin became a bustling trading center with several local Taverns, inns, wagon-makers, blacksmiths and general stores!

The New Berlin Festival pays homage to our past as thousands of residents gather in the heart of the city to enjoy homemade German food, live Polka music and fall-flavored beer.
