Washington Climbers Coalition + Access Fund Exit 38 Trail Days 2025

Join the Washington Climbers Coalition and Access Fund Conservation Team, in conjunction with Washington State Parks, as we wrap up our multi-year trailwork at the Exit 38 climbing area. The goal of this work is to finish stabilization efforts on the platforms people use for belaying and congregating at the Substation climbing area located beneath the Iron Horse Trail. This is the end of a multi-year project with the goal of making one of Washington's most used climbing spots more sustainable for future generations.

We will meet in the parking lot at 8:30am to sign waivers and perform safety checks before beginning work at 9am. We will work until 3pm. We are looking for up to 12 volunteers each day to join us in caring for this great crag!

If you have a "Waitlist" registration, we will reach out if a volunteer can no longer attend. Otherwise, please do not attend with a "Waitlist" ticket as we'll be at capacity from our "Volunteer" registrations.

Volunteers should bring:

• Long-sleeved shirts
• Pants
• Closed-toed shoes
• Plenty of water
• Sunscreen
• Food
• Climbing helmet (for potential overhead work)
• Mask
• Eye protection

Please do not bring your dog to the trail day due to issues in the past.

Please be sure to fill out Access Fund's waiver and Code of Conduct before arriving.
