Blues music are the roots to most modern American music and Friday Fruits is our opportunity to explore and enjoy the “fruits” of the blues “roots” with Blues Fusion: a style of dance that fuses elements of different dance styles to create something entirely new, unique, and spontaneous with the music, your partner, yourself!

Every Friday in August Joshua will be guiding an open-level lesson series; bringing back last year's Elements Series, but with a fresh perspective on the topic - the blending of elements together! We'll be looking at these blending of elements and how their nature can inform our movement and expression as we dance. We encourage you to attend all of the lessons, but if you can't make on we still encourage you to come to what you can!
🤝🎶🙌 Social Dance w/ Spotify Jam
Then after the lesson we'll begin our social dance with a Spotify Jam for the tunes - find the "DJ phone" and queue up your favorite dance jams throughout the social dance. The power to the people--make your choices wisely! 👀
As usual we are a donation-based blues dancing community based in Norfolk; everything collected goes directly back into the community. We appreciate you and everyone in our community for keeping Blues going and growing in and around Hampton Roads, VA!
