Curious how climate tech is being used to restore our waterways—and fight climate change? Join Planetary Technologies and Hampton Roads Sanitation District (HRSD) for a lively, behind-the-scenes tour of Planetary’s carbon removal project, happening right now in Norfolk at the HRSD VIP facility!
Meet Planetary, the climate-tech company turning science into action. They’re working to safely remove carbon dioxide, rebalance the river’s chemistry, and support a healthier planet. And yes, it’s actually happening right where we’ll walk!

⚠️Before the Tour:
1. Safety measures: All participants will be provided with hard hats on site and are required to wear closed-toed shoes and long pants.
2. Parking: Park out in front of the HRSD administration building (see map in ticket link). To enter the plant, follow the instructions on the callbox and the operator will open the gate.
3. Meeting point: At the front entrance to HRSD Administration Building.
4. No IDs are required.
5. Waiver Form: A printed waiver will be available when you arrive for the tour. The waiver is required to enter the HRSD facility.
