Dear Cape Land Rover Club Members,
Grabouw 4x4 has become a favourite for the Club, providing something for everyone: spectacular views of the Elgin Valley, a few technical challenges, and a very scenic trail. With the recent heavy rains, the waterfall is bound to be a spectacular sight, as shown in this video:

The trail is mostly rock and a bit of sand, and will take approximately 4 hours to complete. The grading is roughly 2-4, depending on rain and erosion. The few challenging sections all have bypasses, so bring your Freelanders, Disco 4/5s, and Range Rovers!

Time: Drivers meeting @ 10:00am
Costs: R250 per vehicle, payable in cash at the venue
Lunch: Please bring a picnic lunch/snacks, fires are not allowed on the farm
Novice/New Member: This would be a great way to hone your driving skills.

Important Notes:
Only fully paid up members of the club will be allowed to participate in this event.
Radio (the Club will have radios for hire @ R50 on the day, NO participation without a Radio).
Vehicles taking part must be fitted with appropriate recovery points (front and rear).
Recovery Gear, including Recovery strap.
Tyre repair kit & Compressor.
Please do not litter: take all cigarette stompies and packaging, etc, away with you.
