NCAC Auditions for THE MERRY WIVES OF WINDSOR

The Noblesville Cultural Arts Commission (NCAC) will hold auditions for THE MERRY WIVES OF WINDSOR, our 2025 Noblesville Shakespeare in the Park!

Gluttonous, contemptible ladies’ man Sir John Falstaff arrives in the town of Windsor, down on his luck. He decides to restore his fortunes by seducing the wives of two wealthy merchants, Mistress Page and Mistress Ford. He sends these wives identical love letters, but they discover his double dealing and set about turning the tables. Master Page and Master Ford, initially unaware of their wives' plots, eventually learn about Falstaff's intentions and become involved in the deception. Meanwhile, three suitors seek the hand of Anne Page, Mistress Page's daughter.

Audition prep: Prepare a short Shakespearean monologue and be prepared to read from the script.
