On June 29, a car crashed into Piccolo, forcing them to close for 8-10 weeks. While insurance and unemployment are delayed, staff are without income.
Join us as Piccolo & 417 Foodist serve up creative twists on favorite dishes with local chefs, foodies, and community personalities.
100% of proceeds from Mo Slider Co go to Piccolo’s staff.

On the evening of June 29th, a devastating accident occurred when a car drove through the back of Piccolos kitchen, causing significant damage and forcing the beloved restaurant to temporarily close its doors. While repairs are underway, the dedicated staff—who bring so much flavor and warmth to our community—are facing an extended period without work, likely 4–6 more weeks. Unfortunately, the process of receiving insurance payments and unemployment assistance is slow, leaving many of them in a challenging position.
That’s where you can help.
We’re bringing together Piccolo and 417 Foodist for a one-night-only culinary takeover to raise funds directly for the staff. Guests will enjoy unique spins on Piccolo’s most-loved traditional dishes, crafted in collaboration with local chefs, food personalities, and community favorites. Expect to see some of the 417’s most recognizable food figures cooking, taking orders, and serving up a night of delicious fun—all while supporting a business that has given so much to our town.
Come hungry, bring friends, and be part of a night that’s all about great food, community spirit, and helping our neighbors get back on their feet.
