Jazz Jam Session hosted by the Shelley Yoelin / Gabriel Datcu Quintet

A storied jazz tradition is revived in Niles when the Shelley Yoelin / Gabriel Datcu Quintet host their weekly Thursday night jam session!

The new series rekindles the spirit of the long-running jam at Chambers Restaurant, which was located to the immediate north of Sabor a Café until it closed in 2015. Now, a decade later, musicians once again have a welcoming space in Niles to collaborate and improvise, and giving jazz lovers in the audience a front-row seat to the spontaneous artistry that only a live jam can offer. Sessions will begin at 7:00 PM every Thursday. Seasoned performers and up-and-coming players are encouraged to bring their instruments and join the band on stage.
