El Bandolero

El Bandelero is an energetic Rumba flamenca group in the style of the Gipsy Kings. It is led by guitarist Johnny Al Bazi, the father of all the bandoleros in Chicago.

Al Bazi has been doing music all his life. “Music is my life.," he says. "There is no word to describe it, its passion and love. That’s what the music is all about.”

Johnny started to play guitar in the 1980s while living in Greece and in his career he has had the honor of sharing the stage with the Gipsy Kings.
