　「大東亜戦争の末期においても、日本軍は決して順当に負けていったわけではありません。硫黄島・沖縄、さらに南方においても、終戦の日まで敵軍も驚く奮戦を見せました。日本軍はなぜこれだけ奮戦したのか？　そして昭和天皇はなぜ終戦の御聖断に至ったのか？　教科書には書かれていない実相をお伝えします。」
