Kelsey has been teaching Pilates for 17 years, and holds 2 full comprehensive certifications with Power Pilates and Stott Pilates, recognized world wide. While she has furthered her education in many other methods and forms of movement over the years, Pilates remains to be her true love as it fully incorporates complete coordination of body, mind, and spirit. She is now a proud co-founder of the Port Dalhousie Pilates Club located in St.Catharines, ON.
What is Pilates?
Pilates is a system of core based exercises designed to improve your overall health and well being. It can be practiced on the mat, or using a variety of other apparatus & equipment such as the Cadillac, the Reformer, and more. You can expect improvement in posture, strength, stamina, flexibility, and an overall feeling of wellness.
Abbey Morris is an Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist, Certified Sound Healer & Meditation Teacher. She is the owner and operator of Yoga by Abbey, a boutique style wellness studio in St. Catharines, Ontario, where she hosts weekly classes, holistic workshops, and works 1:1 with clients through the modalities of yoga, meditation, sound healing and ayurveda. Abbey also hosts local and international retreats where she guides participants through intentional programs that provide the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in the yogic lifestyle. Her passion for teaching derives from her own healing journey with her mental health and ability to overcome a severe eating disorder and debilitating digestive issues through the ancient wisdom of yoga and ayurveda. Abbey believes that yoga saved her life and is on a mission to empower others to embody the truest most authentic version of themselves. She teaches yoga beyond the poses and inspires others through her classes and programs to LIVE their yoga both on and off the mat.
