Anne Chaurand Recital

As part of the Bangor Guitar Weekend, the CGSNI is delighted to host a recital from one of the two tutors from the weekend's activities, Anne Chaurand, who will be preceded by a performance from the participants of the workshops that took place over the festival, including a performance of guitar ensemble music.

French born guitarist Anne Chaurand lives in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland. After graduating from the Conservatoire National de Montreuil, and the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama she pursued her studies further abroad with Pepe Romero and Cuban Maestro Leo Brouwer.

She is an active performer, community musician and teacher, blending Celtic and Latin roots with warmth and expertise.
