We’ve got something extra special lined up for this Monday, August 4th at The Running Place!
Join us for our regular Monday Night Group Run at 6:45 PM, and stick around afterward for a free injury screen and recovery chat with Dr. Jacob Myers, DPT, CSCS from Onward Physical Therapy in Paoli.
And since it’s the first Monday of the month, you know what that means… FREE PIZZA after the run!
Who’s Dr. Jacob?
You may recognize him from our last handful of Monday Night Runs but Jacob Myers is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist who specializes in helping runners move better and stay injury-free. He works out of Onward Physical Therapy in Paoli, where he focuses on performance-based care—less “just rest” and more “here’s how to fix it and get stronger.”
Jacob is passionate about helping runners like you improve mechanics, prevent injuries, and build resilience for the long haul. If you’ve got a nagging ache, a question about running form, or just want to learn how to recover smarter, this is your chance to get personalized advice from a pro.
What’s Happening Monday Night?
6:45 PM: Group run/walk kicks off (all paces welcome!)
Post-run: Dr. Jacob leads a short talk on injury prevention, recovery tips, and smart training habits
And of course: Pizza. Is. Happening.
This is a free event and open to all runners and walkers. You don’t have to be injured to come—just curious and ready to learn how to keep your body running happy and strong.
Whether you’re training for spring races, recovering from a big effort, or just love a good group run and a slice of pizza, we hope you’ll join us for this fun and informative evening.
