Safety Fest 2025

The Newton Fire Department and Newton Police Department will be parked at the park with a fire truck, ambulance, police vehicle, and more! There will be fun activities and chances to meet police officers and firefighters.

🎉 Looking for more fun at Newton Fest on Saturday, June 14? Head to Maytag Park and Maytag Pool — there’s something for everyone!

🧘 Start your morning with free Yoga at the Bowl (9:30–10:30 a.m.)
🎶 Enjoy a free concert from the Damon Dotson Band (12 p.m.)
🎈 Let the kids bounce and play in the Family Fun Zone (12–4 p.m.)
🎨 Get creative with ISU Extension crafts, a story walk, and a Habitat for Humanity coloring station (starting at 12 p.m.)
🍴 Grab lunch at local food trucks in the park
🏊‍♀️ Cool off with $3 admission to Maytag Pool (starting at 1 p.m.)
