with An upper(A) and lower B play offs on Sunday
2024 CAPTAINS OR TEAM MEMBER DESIGNEE (IF THAT IS THE CASE LET ME KNOW WHO THE CAPTAIN WAS) WILL HAVE 24HRS FIRST CHANCE TO RE-SIGN THEIR TEAM IN THE SAME CLASS or Priority for a different class if any openings left, BEFORE OPEN TO ALL!
IF YOU ARE A NEW TEAM YOU CAN ALSO SIGN UP NOW AS IT WILL BE A FIRST SIGN UP PREFERENCE AFTER THE 24HRS FOR ANY OPEN SPOTS !!!

Fri vs Sat night for co-eds,
Mornings or afternoons for Men's or Women's again ONLY if entire team cannot play !!
INDIVIDUAL players but not entire teams, can play/sub in BOTH CO-ED 4's AND 6's in pool play and playoffs, BUT I will NOT schedule to accommodate because they pool play at the same time! Any schedule or playoff conflicts are YOUR problem !
You can play both Co-eds AND 4 man or 4-woman There are NO scheduling conflicts to do that.
Co-eds 4's & 6's play Friday night and/or Sat late afternoon -night if you want to play ALL of your pool play one night I can try to accommodate
4-man and 4-woman pool play is Sat Morning / afternoon
ALL playoffs are Sunday: Co-eds in the morning, 4-man and 4- woman afternoon

Newton Volunteer Firefighters Volleyball Tournament
Round Robin (pool play) & Playoffs
General Rules:
1. NO CARRY-INS PLEASE! Any players with food/alcohol not sold on the grounds will be disqualified. Please remember this is a fundraiser for the Newton Volunteer Firefighters. Thank You.
2. If there are any disputes on judgment calls replay it. However disputes on rule calls can be discussed with the v-ball committee, with the committee having final say.
Tourney Format: for anyone that cares
1 . Games will be rally score, All pool play games will be capped at game point
(need not win by two)
2. Teams will be one class for pool play, but there will be an upper/lower class for playoffs. (Pay out not determined solely by number of teams in class).
3.Co-ed (6’s): you can go girl, guy, guy. No rotation or girl guy rule in 4's
4. Any rule changes /omissions will be announced and posted at tournament.
DETERMINING PLACEMENT FOR PLAYOFFS:
1. Number of games won in pool play.
2. If two teams are tied, placement determined by winner of their pool play match against each other.
3. If there is a three or more tie, placement determined by points accumulated in their pool play matches against each other.
4. If still tie, placement determined by WINNING points in all pool play matches.
