On Thursday, September 18, 2025, NAMI Mid-Kansas is partnering with Safe Streets Wichita to host a local distribution site in Newton. Volunteers will be providing free naloxone kits and information to help save lives and support our community.
📍 Location: First Mennonite Church – 429 East 1st Street, Newton, KS
(Use the south entrance by the playground and go upstairs to Room 224)
🕕 Time: 6:00 – 7:00 PM

Naloxone (also known as Narcan) is a safe, easy-to-use medication that can reverse opioid overdoses and save lives. Whether you’re a family member, friend, professional, or community member, this is an opportunity to be part of something that makes a real difference.
This event is part of a nationwide effort on September 25, 2025, where communities across the U.S. will come together for the largest Free Naloxone Day in history.
