The Huntingdon Borough Police Department is eager to announce The 2025 Huntingdon Area Public Safety Golf Tournament.
Registration is open through July 25. 2025
This endeavor serves to benefit the police services for Borough of Huntingdon. Proceeds from this event will be allocated to help fund various programs within our community and support area youth. Some of the programs that would be benefit include, but are not limited to: car seat safety programs which purchase car seats for those who are financially unable, bicycle rodeos to teach bicycle safety skills and provide helmets to local children, as well as local drug awareness and community engagement programs such as National Night Out, Coffee with a Cop, and youth sports sponsorship. Funds will also be used for local school scholarships, and various internal police programs such as the continued operation of the K9 unit, Drone program, officer training and equipment purchases that would be financially unattainable by any other means. All of these programs are vital to providing safety and protection to our community that we serve.
The golf tournaments in the past have been successful, and we are excited to see how this event can continue to grow. As we prepare for this year’s event, we ask you to consider a sponsorship to help make this event the best yet. We extend our gratitude to all of you who have sponsored this event in the past. Your generosity and support have been instrumental in funding the various programs and initiatives described above.
This year’s golf tournament will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025, at the American Legion Country Club, with two tee times: 8a and Noon. A meal will be provided between flights.
