Join the Acid Communist Party for a radically inclusive open mic jam night at the Maltings.

No hierarchy. No auditions. No pressure.

There’ll be seasoned musicians on hand to kick things off, hold things together, and jam with you — whether you’re confident on stage or trying something new for the first time.

Play an instrument, sing a song, read a poem, make some noise — or just come and listen. From people who’ve been playing for years to those who barely know a few chords, everyone has an equal right to be heard.

Music belongs to all of us. This is about participation, not performance — rebuilding grassroots culture together.
