Junior Raft Race (pre-registration required)

IMPORTANT. pre-register your team for this popular event by texting Sarah on 07916 151883. Entry is limited to 8 teams of four 10-15 year olds. Please ensure you book with correct competitor names and team name.

Teams of 4 are invited to put on fancy dress (optional) and to build a raft using provided materials only, and then race their raft around our course just off the river beach. There will be a number of heats followed by a grand final with the winning team receiving the Junior Raft Race trophy. The wearing of buoyancy aids and helmets is mandatory (all safety equipment is provided)

1:00pm. Register your teams at the Ship Inn beach

Entry fee : free

1:30pm. Racing starts.

All materials, paddles, helmets and buoyancy aids are supplied (with thanks to Seasports SW)
