This month, we will start at 10:00am sharp on Sunday, 30th November. We will meet on the beach slipway by the bridge.
Come and join us to Protect What We Love...
On the last Sunday of each month, volunteers join together to remove marine and other litter from the beautiful Mawgan Porth Beach.
We have litter pickers and buckets. All you need is yourselves and suitable clothing!
If you prefer to wear gloves, please bring your own along.
All welcome. (Children accompanied by an adult at all times please 🙂 )
A few quick bits to know:
*Please bring your own gloves if you want them – we don’t supply gloves or hi-vis.
*We’ll provide litter pickers and buckets for waste.
*Wear sturdy shoes or boots (no sandals or flip-flops).
*Dress for the weather – we’ll cancel if it’s seriously rough.
(Watch Facebook for cancelations)
*Only use the litter picker – don’t use hands for anything.
*Don’t touch sharp items or dead animals – take a photo, note the location, and tell a supervisor.
*Kids welcome, but under 18s must be with an adult.
*We avoid cliffs, caves, and dodgy terrain – we’ll point all that out before we start.
*There will be a first aider on site (either Curly Steve or another responsible adult).
*It’s relaxed, friendly and community-led. Come and get stuck in.
