SUDS FOR SHARKS

Get ready for food, fins, and fun at Suds for Sharks at Shortway Brewing Company at 230 Chatham Street in Newport on Thursday, July 10, 5:30-8 p.m. hosted by the North Carolina Aquarium

It’s a free event and no registration is necessary.
The North Carolina Aquarium Society will host, with the North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores and Shortway Brewing, this free, family-friendly event, bringing awareness to the importance of shipwrecks off the coast of North Carolina, as essential habitat for sand tiger sharks, which are considered critically endangered in other parts of the world.
The event will feature speakers, shark-themed games, shark trivia, and a silent auction with items donated by local artists. Shortway Brewing Company will have a shark-themed beer and there will be food for purchase onsite.

All donations will go toward the N.C. Aquariums Conservation Action Committee shark conservation projects.
