Repurposing: Turn everyday objects into constructed sculpture - Two Day Workshop by Steve Baxter

Steve Baxter will lead this workshop on repurposing furniture through sculpture.
Guiding participants through the process of reimagining and reconstructing furniture, encouraging a playful, hands-on approach to materials and form.

After a time analysing artworks and generating ideas, students will be introduced to differing construction techniques in wood plastics, and textiles and organic 3D thinking. Then deconstruct and reconstruct objects.

*All materials are supplied, but students are welcome to bring their own*
