This special Record Hop replaces the usual band night, so the spotlight’s on the tunes that made the legends move. From floor-fillers to forgotten gems, we’ll be keeping the spirit of the 50s alive all night long.
Newport’s no stranger to a good fight for freedom — from the Chartists’ call for the vote to twenty years of Thursday Rock ’n’ Roll history (oldest continuous weekly dance in Wales)— and now the ghosts of the greats will rise once more to light up the dance floor!
🔥 For the first time ever outside our own club, Valley Jive will lead the famous OGGY OGGY dance — so bring your friends, your dancing shoes, and your best jive moves.
