Newport Carnival Royalty Selection 2025

Does your child have what it takes to be part of the Newport Carnival Royalty Team for 2025? If so, why not attend our selection evening on Saturday 26th April.

Date: Saturday 26th April 2025

Location: Newport Parish Centre, Town Lane, Newport PO30 1JU

Registration: 6pm – 6.45pm

Judging from: 7pm

Doors close: 8.30pm

Light refreshments are available including tea, coffee, soft drinks and cakes.

Entrants must comply with the following criteria

- Be aged between 9 and 15 years on the night.
- Must live in the PO30 (Newport) postcode area.
- Entries are open for both girls and boys.
- Must be available to attend Newport’s Carnivals and the majority, if not all, the carnivals on the Isle of Wight Carnival’s Calendar that Newport Carnival participates in.
- All entrants must be accompanied by a parent or guardian throughout the whole evening.

Entry Forms

Entry forms are available on the Royalty Selection Evening itself, however, we do encourage parents/guardians to fill out the form before arriving at the venue, if able to do so. This can be handed in when you arrive with your child/children at the selection evening on the above date.
