Welsh quartet Crwban echo the golden age of surf music proper, with an indie-punk ethos, through their bilingual lyricism and hyper-local social commentary. A smudged snapshot of valleys melancholy and cynicism. In a landscape where genres-like people-intertwine, Crwban find simple harmony in contrasts; nostalgia thinking but forward-facing.
