Countdown to Kindergarten Group

What is Countdown to Kindergarten (CDTK)?

Preparing for school starts early and involves families, caregivers, and the community. A well-prepared child is ready physically, emotionally, socially, and intellectually. CDTK is a program designed to help families with children who will start kindergarten in the following year (most 4 year olds). Each month, C5 provides easy activities to help your child get ready for school and make learning fun. You can participate at home by downloading free printables from www.cockecountyc5.org.

C5 and Empower Cocke County will host a Countdown to Kindergarten Group each month. Up to 20 children and their caregivers can join either a morning or evening session. Morning sessions are from 10 AM to 11 AM, and evening sessions are from 6 PM to 7 PM. These sessions are provided at no cost to families and offer resources and incentives for attending.
