Chinese Moon Festival Celebration

Let's Celebrate! 中秋快乐
"Mid-Autumn Festival" is also called the Moon Festival or the Mooncake Festival. It traditionally falls on the 15th day of the eighth month in the Chinese lunar calendar, which is in September or early October in the Gregorian calendar. The Mid-Autumn Festival is the second most important festival in China after Chinese New Year."
At this event we will:
- Learn about the customs and traditions of this traditional Chinese holiday
- Learn about Newport News' Sister City of Taizhou, Jiangsu Province
- Enjoy cultural performances
- Try some mooncake and Chinese tea!

LOCATION: CITY SPACE is Sister Cities' new office in City Center, Oyster Point. There is plenty of free parking on the street and in 3 local garages.
