Melody Kiser is a dynamic force in the music world—a gifted multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and event visionary. With a Master’s degree in Music Business from Berklee College of Music, Melody bridges the worlds of creativity and industry with rare finesse. She is also an accomplished event promoter, best known for founding Newnan Porchfest, which drew over 10,000 attendees in its first year alone.
Raised in a musical family and inspired by icons like Led Zeppelin, Heart, Journey, and more, Melody’s sound is rooted in rock and blues but expands effortlessly into folk, pop, soul, funk, and jazz. She performs electric and acoustic guitar, vocals, and alto saxophone at a professional level, blending technical skill with heartfelt expression.
Melody began performing in clubs and sharing videos online at just 12 years old, building an international following. Over the years, she’s shared stages with members of Journey, Steppenwolf, Boston, Toto, Santana, .38 Special, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Zac Brown Band, Collective Soul, Cameo, KLYMAXX, and Joan Osborne. She’s also appeared on music cruises alongside legends like Melissa Etheridge and Nancy Wilson of Heart, and worked as a session musician for a wide range of artists.
Today, Melody leads her band HeyDreamer, signed to Real People Music—a production company founded by Brian Collins and Will Turpin of Collective Soul. The band has released two albums to date and is currently recording their third. With new music on the horizon and an active 2025 tour schedule, Melody Kiser continues to captivate audiences with her musicianship, passion, and relentless drive.
