Newmarket Cemetery Day 2025

We need volunteers to help clean up the Pickering and Burley cemeteries. Events kickoff on May 17, 9 AM, at Pickering Cemetery, located near 157 Ash Swamp Road, Newmarket. Volunteers will help by mowing cemetery lawns, pruning trees and brush, raking and bagging, and repainting metal gates. Once work at Pickering is done, we will then go work on Burley Cemetery, near 10 Bald Hill Road, Newmarket.

At 6 PM, come to the Millspace for a presentation by the Newmarket Historical Society about the history of the cemeteries and early Newmarket. Everyone is invited!
