Ride to Lakeside café-bistro at Horam

On Sunday 29th June we're leaving promptly at 10.30 from Sainsbury's at Newhaven and cycling to Lakeside café-bistro at Horam for lunch. Lakeside is at Horam Manor Farm, Horam, East Sussex TN21 0JB. If you prefer, bring a picnic lunch and find a spot nearby.

There will be some gentle off road on the way out. We will make the return journey via the attractive A27 cycle way. This will be a round trip of about 40 miles ending in Lewes.

If you plan to come on any of our rides, please make sure your cycle is in a roadworthy condition. Bring a puncture repair kit, spare inner tube (or as appropriate for tubeless tyres), essential tools, a mobile phone if you have one, something to eat and drink, sunscreen / waterproofs / warm clothing as appropriate. Please follow Cycling UK's guidance, and check with the ride leader about the distance and hilliness of the ride if you are unsure. Be prepared to give contact phone numbers at the start of a ride. Let the ride leader know if you have a medical condition that might affect your ride.
