Getting Started with Organic Ancient Grains - From Field to Package

The event will start at 9 am with a short presentation from Dr. Angela Jackson about organic practices and standards for ancient grain producers. Then attendees will have the opportunity to learn from Brian Stambaugh, about producing organic ancient grains, and his experience getting started with organic in 2018. The tour will include a field walk, a look at grain storage and cleaning, as well as packaging and milling. The content and presentations will conclude at noon, but attendees are invited to bring a packed lunch and stay for networking until 1 pm.
