The trials will be held at the Newcastle Hockey Complex on Saturday 31st May, 2025 and all nominating players are requested to register with their relevant age group from 7.15am onwards (a trial schedule for the day will be shared with all players trialling with different registration times for different age groups).
Every field player is to bring a dark navy or black singlet or t-shirt with matching dark socks, and a white singlet or t-shirt and white socks.
Players are requested to not wear any NSW or Australian representative clothing, socks or goalie smocks whilst at the trials.
The format for the day will be advised closer to the trials when numbers are known but will involve skills sessions and games.
There will be a specific trial for all goalkeepers on the day in addition to their relevant age group trial.
Please encourage all eligible ladies (turning 34 and above in 2025) from your association to nominate for selection in our 2025 NSW Masters Teams.
Selections will be held for Over 34s, Over 40s, Over 45s, Over 50s, Over 55s, Over 60s, Over 65s and Over 70s.
Please note that we will be selecting players according to the HAMC selection age brackets for Nationals:
Over 34s - born 1987 to 1991
Over 40s - born 1982 to 1986
Over 45s - born 1977 to 1981
Over 50s - born 1972 to1976
Over 55s - born 1967 to 1971
Over 60s - born 1962 to 1966
Over 65s - born 1957 to 1961
Over 70s - born 1956 and earlier
Please note that there will be a MAXIMUM of 16 players selected per NSW team.
Teams will be announced on the Saturday afternoon of trials via the Hockey NSW website and the NSW Women's Masters Facebook page.
A compulsory training session for all team members and shadow players will be held the following morning on Sunday 1st June from 7.00am-11.00am.
