Dave Favours & the Roadside Ashes Single Launch w/ Ben Leece & Left of the Dial and One Flew Over

Join Dave Favours & the Roadside Ashes when they launch their new double A-sided 7” single Walking/Waterfront Blues on Saturday, July 12 at the Oak in Tighes Hill, Newcastle.

Walking is a cover of the Eastern Dark classic and features the Eastern Dark’s Bill Gibson on backing vocals. Waterfront Blues is a Favours original and the first track to be lifted from their forthcoming album, Service Station Chicken, which is due out in November. Both showcase the band’s twangy indie rock sound perfectly.

Joining them on the night on the night are good friends Ben Leece & Left of the Dial and One Flew Over.

Ben Leece & Left of the Dial will be performing material from Ben’s back catalogue and their highly anticipated, socially and politically charged new album.

One Flew Over are a Newcastle post punk, psych pop and cabaret institution and feature members of the Tall Stories, Les Poetes Pop, Outliers and Crosstown Killers.
