Dave Favours & the Roadside Ashes Single Launch w/ Crank Williams & Patsy DeCline

Sydney cowpunks Dave Favours & the Roadside Ashes return to Melbourne to launch their new double A-sided 7” single Walking/Waterfront Blues on Saturday, July 26 at Odessa in Creswick.

Walking is a cover of the Eastern Dark classic and features the Eastern Dark’s Bill Gibson on backing vocals. Waterfront Blues is a Favours original and the first track to be lifted from their forthcoming album, Service Station Chicken, which is due out in November. Both showcase the band’s twangy indie rock sound perfectly.

Special guests on the night on the night are Ballarat locals, Crank Williams & Patsy DeCline whose songs trawl the depths of murder, betrayal, love won, love lost and love on the run, sung by two partners in crime that are the loves of each other’s lives.
