FAQS:
Is this child-friendly?
This seasonal show aims to delight and amaze, not to scare anyone. Children who are sensitive to a lot of visual and sound stimulus might not be comfortable. In addition, it is likely that you will spend some time in line getting to the start of the trail. Only you know if this is suitable for your child.
Do you allow strollers/wheelchairs/wagons along the trail?
Guests may use strollers, wheelchairs, and wagons on the exhibit trail. The trail is fully accessible.
How long does it take to walk through?
Once you arrive, make it through the entrance and start your walk, the approximate 1-mile walk along the trail will take you around 30 minutes.
The Rivertown Trail is a public walking trail, why do I have to pay to walk through the display?
The Rivertown Trail closes to the public at dark. Special permission was granted by Town of Newburgh to allow access to the closed trail after dark for a private fundraiser event.
This is outside on a walking trail - can I bring my dog?
No. Only service animals are allowed. No other animals are permitted to attend.
What happens to the proceeds from ticket sales?
All proceeds benefit Historic Newburgh, Inc. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to historic preservation, economic vitality and sustainability of the downtown Newburgh area. Visit www.historicnewburgh.org to learn more about us.
Can I have a photographer take family photos during the event?
No. We do not allow tri-pods or professional family photos to be taken during the event as it will impede the flow of foot traffic.
