Trash Bash 2025

Join our team August 16th , and help clean up the Muskegon river! We have a 6 mile stretch of river our team has dedicated to picking up trash. We will start our float at the croton dam in YOUR preferred method of floating (kayak, tube, canoe) and pick up trash along the river as we go. We will have one large flat bottom metal boat to carry everyone's trash, to help transport it the rest of the trip allowing you to collect as much as possible. If you are not comfortable with doing the entire float trip you can also help on foot, with clean-up at the boat launch areas along our designated stretch (croton pond, croton dam, pine street, and Thornapple). After a long day on the river we will provide lunch at the waterfall area about 2 miles down river, and we will have a cook out at Happy Campers Campground when everyone returns!
