Delta Authors in the Eastern Region

Delta Authors On Tour (DAOT) was started under the leadership of Past National President Paulette C. Walker. The goals are to support Delta authors with a book selling cultural arts event, represent the region with a National Arts and Letters Commission initiative, and to promote literacy and Black books to the community. The DAOT makes stops in all seven Delta regions. WAC is hosting the Delta Authors On Tour on behalf of the Eastern Region.

The Tour will present 7 amazing Authors

• Elora Berkley author of "Black Jinni"
• Marva Boatman author of "A Children's Book of Morals"
• Mary Caroll- Robertson author of "Move Beyond Fear"
• Victoria Christopher Murray author of "Harlem Rhapsody"
• Dr. Antoinette Glenn author of "Found Guilty: My 26 Year Journey to Redemption"
• Dr. Deborah Hall author of "They Believed They Could Fly"
• Karen Roberts Turner author of "The Other Twin"

The event includes book signings, opportunities to engage with authors, and a chance to explore various genres, including fiction, non-fiction, memoirs, and children's books.
