Cudjo Banquante Bus Tour

Come join us for a special Guided Bus Tour that will take you on a journey through history, exploring the life of Revolutionary War soldier and early Black businessman Cudjo Banquante and his impact on the community. The tour will also visit other notable Black history sites in Newark, with entertaining guides telling stories of the importance of each. The tours begin and end at the Greater Newark Conservancy. This in-person event is a great opportunity to learn about local history and connect with fellow history enthusiasts. Don't miss out on this exciting adventure!

The tour bus leaves promptly at the start time, so please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of the tour so you have time to register. Even better, you can arrive even earlier and enjoy the beautiful grounds of the Greater Newark Conservancy before the tour begins.

Tickets are free but space is limited, so as a courtesy to others who want to attend please return your ticket if you can't make it.
