About the Show

In a conservative town in Anywhere, USA, mysterious illnesses have plagued a group of young adults. Paranoia and accusations of witchcraft spread through the community, leading to a series of trials where innocent people are wrongly convicted and executed. The play "The Crucible" explores the dangers of mass hysteria and the manipulation of fear for personal gain that continues to weave its way into the politics of day-to-day life.

About the Venue - The Irma Sandrey Theatre

The Irma Sandrey Theatre is LSTFI's black-box theater, named for the longtime student and teaching partner of Lee Strasberg.

The Theatre is located on the 3rd floor, and our historic building does not have an elevator. Early entry for those needing assistance or additional time is available upon arrival.

Seating is not assigned.

Restrooms are located on the 2nd floor. Access to the other parts of the building is not permitted.
