LGBTQ Networking Wine Night: New Wines of South America - NYC

Join Sommelier Timothy Dillon at top-rated wine shop Le Du's Wines as we explore the new wines of South America. South American wines, particularly from Argentina and Chile, are known for their distinct varieties and styles, including Malbec, Torrontés, and Carmenère. Argentina's Mendoza region is renowned for its Malbec, and Cafayete for its Torrontés. Chile, with its long and narrow shape, offers a diverse range of grape varieties, including Carmenère, a signature Chilean wine, as well as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and white varieties like Sauvignon Blanc.

Throughout our virtual tasting tour, there is plenty of time to meet some amazing professionals while enjoying a full wine flight together!

• The program and the full tasting will begin at 7:00 pm.

Timothy Dillon is a Certified Sommelier with the Sommelier Society of America and has worked in fine wine and spirits for well over a decade.
