Lauren Belski presents Dark Enough, feat. CJ Hauser

P&T Knitwear is pleased to welcome Lauren Belski to celebrate the publication of her newest book, : a "raw and honest" coming-of-age story (Helen Philips, author of Hum) that follows 15-year-old scholar athlete Emily Banks from her safe cocoon of SAT prep books and overprotective parents into the light-polluted slate of the suburban Philadelphia night, where so many accepted truths that seem so clear in the daytime take on an entirely different character under the gaze of distant stars.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
is a graduate of the Brooklyn College MFA program and the author of and the short story collection Whatever Used to Grow Around Here. Her short fiction, poetry, essays and criticism has appeared in Make, Matter, Black Rabbit Quarterly, The Trout Family Almanac, Avidly, and occasionally on her oft-neglected substack "Bookish Brooding." She lives, writes, and works in New York City.

ABOUT THE MODERATOR
is a multi-genre, genderqueer writer who splits time between rural central New York and Brooklyn. Their memoir, , is published by Doubleday and they are at work on a new novel called The Night Gardeners. They have been happily teaching in the English & Creative Writing department at Colgate University since 2016. You can find them online at their substack, Dopamine Dog.
