Juneteenth at NYC's African Burial Ground

Juneteenth is primarily about freedom and emancipation. These facts are synonymous with celebration and joy via mind body and soul. As African people in America we believe and live by certain shared experiences with the Ancestors. Joy is one of many experiences blessed and acknowledged by the ancestors.

Music is the Divine Union between The Physical and The Spiritual.

We want to reconnect the African Burial Ground with the community. WE are the community.
