IFBA Salon Dinner: Shared Responsibility: The Food Industry’s Role in Tackling Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs)
As discussions advance in preparation for the Fourth High-Level Meeting on Non-Communicable Diseases, leading food and beverage manufacturers would welcome the opportunity to engage with selected Permanent Representatives to share the actions undertaken since 2018, in response to the mandate articulated in the Political Declaration adopted during the Third High-Level Meeting.
We are particularly privileged to be joined on this occasion by Ms. Michelle Nunn, Chief Executive Officer of CARE International, a globally recognized humanitarian and development organization. Ms. Nunn will present the “She Feeds the World” initiative, which empowers women farmers in developing countries to strengthen food security and resilience in their communities. The program’s largest private sector partner, The PepsiCo Foundation – a founding member of IFBA – exemplifies the food industry’s commitment to supporting sustainable agriculture and empowering women across supply chains.
