In this limited availability experience you will be tutored to responsibly harvest fresh stems of Lavender. Once you have learned the skill of the "perfumed cut" you'll harvest an overabundance of fragrant flowers in the only lavender field in NYC.
We'll guide you on fashioning these intensely purple blossoms into a stunning rustic wreath.
To finish things off you'll go back into the field for a final harvest of a take-home lavender bouquet.
Get ready for an outdoor sensory overload at the NYC Lavender Field on Governors Island.

The “NYC Lavender Festival” offers 2 days of tours, maker workshops, harvesting opportunities and fun activities, all connected by "The NYC The Lavender Field” on Governors Island, a healing space for community, bees and earth, and the only lavender field in all 5 boroughs of New York.
