Learn to Play Roller Derby with Terminal City

Join Terminal City's 6-week program to learn how to play roller derby!

You’ll be learning contact from week 1 with the goal of having you ready to play in a scrimmage by the end of the program. The course runs every Sunday from 10:45am - 1pm and is $75. You must email us at cmVjcnVpdGluZyB8IHRjcmQgISBjYQ== to sign up, signed up through Eventbrite will not register you for the course.

For this course you are required to already be comfortable on your skates, you should be comfortable with the following skills to safely participate in this course: skating forwards and backwards, transitions, plow stops, falling safely, side stepping, 1 foot balance and glides, and crossovers. If you haven’t gotten every skill in this list nailed that’s ok, but you should have the majority ready to go.

This course is open to individuals who are 18+, and who feel a women's roller derby league is the right space for them (this includes, but is not limited to, gender expansive, gender non-conforming, and transgender individuals).
