This gathering is an opportunity for New West’s arts and culture community to come together, reflect on where we are, and envision where we want to go. Arts New West and Massey Theatre Society will share their current strategic directions and how they’re responding to these challenging times.
Following the presentations, we’ll open the floor to hear from you—community members and representatives from local arts and culture organizations. We’ll explore questions such as:
• What bold, outside-the-box ideas can help us respond to the times we’re in?
• What do we need to learn or better understand to move forward effectively?
• What can we do together to strengthen our sector?
Our goal is to spark connection, encourage collaboration, and help build a more resilient and supportive network of individuals and organizations ready to advocate for a strong, sustainable future for the arts in New Westminster.
