This is a highly interactive outdoor biking workshop. We will explore ways to cycle with less stress on your body and with less physical effort. This class is for beginner cyclists that want to learn how to use their bike effectively. This class is great for new cyclists, who are interested in doing their first fondo, triathlon or start club riding.
General format
15 mins meet at Cap’s Bicycle Shop,

45 min ride with learning skills
15 mins review and questions
Week 1 Equipment, Body position, cadence
Week 2 Gearing, standing
Week 3 Cornering, Drills
Week 4 Review and Longer distance ride
Equipment required:
Bike – road bike, hybrid, or mountain bike. Protective gear a must, helmet, proper shoes, and cycling clothing.
Extra add-ons:
3 3-month custom cycling program for 20km or 40km can be added for $100/month.
