It's Plant Time! Last month there was a great turn out for our monthly plant swap, and we know this one will be just as awesome. This month we are excited to have Valerie from Omega Tree and Nursery chat with us about DIY Permaculture. She is going to talk about the benefits of native plants and natural methods for a thriving local ecology and edible ecosystem. Fun fact - Valerie was one of our original plant gurus! She is also going to bring some native and/or edible plants, produce, and compost for people to purchase.

Thanks to New Port Richey FarmNet we will have summer seedlings while supplies last, and this time they're bringing some luffa based on last month's interest.

This plantastic event is a partnership between the Pasco County Food Policy Advisory Council (FPAC), New Port Richey FarmNet, and of course yours truly - Keep Pasco Beautiful. Bring a plant to swap if you like, we will have some local seedlings as give aways while supplies last. Want to know how to keep those plant babes alive in the crazy Florida weather? So stop by and hang out with fellow plant lovers, have a pint if you like, and maybe meet some new friends in the process.
