Join us for our next exciting cooking course
Over five weeks you will learn how to sew a pair of childrens pyjamas.
This course is for total newbies to the world of sewing or to those wanting to brush up on their skills. Our tutor Judith Hill will walk you through the ins and outs of your machine while guiding you over this five week course on how to sew your pyjamas. You will learn how to work with a pattern, will discuss different materials, learn to run a bobbin and thread through your machine, and learn all the skills needed to complete your project.
In order to attend the course you will need:
-Your own sewing machine to bring along to the course – in running order with needle and bobbin. (If you have a manual with it that would be great)
– Buy 2.5m of cotton flannelette material – wash, dry and iron it before the course
-Take measurements of your child – waist measurement, length from side of waist to ankle etc
-If you have dressmaking scissors and pins please bring them along
-A pattern similar to Butterick 5853
