Metairie Confederate Memorial Service

This special event is SUNDAY JUNE 1st, 2025! Reenactors in uniform and bearing arms, please bring at least NINE (9) rounds of loaded paper cartridges! This is a very important memorial service! There are over 1,000 Confederate Veterans buried in Metairie cemetery, another 2,000 across the street in Greenwood Cemetery, and another 1,000 at the Cypress Grove, Odd Fellows Rest, and St Patrick’s Cemeteries, all of which are within earshot of Metairie Cemetery.
